The Shin Furano Prince Hotel, built right in front of the slopes, is a very convenient lodging facility with ski-in, ski-out access. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of after-ski activities for a comfortable stay in the resort. An example of these is the Furano Onsen “Shisai-no-yu”, a natural hot spring with a smooth touch to the skin, whose facilities are equipped with an open-air bath and Finnish sauna, perfect for relieving all the fatigue built up during the day. In addition, “Furano Kan Kan Mura”, which lights up the forest located within the facility, forms a magical space surrounded by winter scenery and features an “ice bar” made from natural ice. Of course, while the resort itself features more than enough activities for visitors to fully enjoy their stay, it is also a mere 10 minutes’ drive from Furano city center. Exploring some of the local delicacies that can only be found in Furano is also highly recommended.
