Resort Feature

Versatile- a word made for HANAZONO

The slopes at Niseko HANAZONO Resort offer a wide range of courses that you will never get tired of. Three rides on high-speed chairlifts will take you to heights with a magnificent view of Mt. Yotei in front of you and the summit of Mt. Annupuri overhead. It goes without saying that the powder in the higher areas of the resort leave nothing to desire in both quality and quantity. You can immerse yourself in tree runs on ungroomed courses, kicking up overhead spray, speed through courses of beautiful corduroy in huge arcs, or cruise freestyle through their snowparks- does it get any better than this?

There is also a whole array of activities perfect for families, like snowmobile rides and snow-rafting. From children to adults, and beginners wearing skis for the first time to experts hitting the slopes all season, HANAZONO is the perfect resort that has something to offer for everyone.

“Too beautiful to be true”- tree runs that allure the world’s riders

HANAZONO, located in the deep conifer woods on the east side of Mt. Niseko Annupuri, is like a secret paradise. Facing the furthest north of the resorts in Niseko United, HANAZONO receives regular snowfall. The resort boasts an amazing environment in which the powder retains its “better than best” quality that is nothing short of what you would expect of Niseko, the “sanctum of JAPOW.” This asset especially comes through in the snowy woods. Riders from all over the world fall in love with these deep and light tree runs.

Enjoy Niseko to the fullest! Resort-run powder guide services

Niseko is all about the powder. However, it is often said that the area is so popular that the powder is gone before you know it. This is where HANAZONO POWDER GUIDES (HPG), who host tours in multiple languages, come in. This local guide team that knows the mountains of Niseko inside out will take you not only to untreaded powder spots in the resort, but also to backcountry that can be accessed by chair lift with confidence. They also offer pre-open first track services- a special arrangement unique to resort-run guides. If you want to enjoy the powder of Niseko safely and surely, be sure to contact HPG.

Maximized comfort with a new gondola system and renewed main chair lift

The ’21-22 season saw the opening of the new HANAZONO Symphony Gondola. With a length of 1,362m and only a 5 minute away from the summit, the cabin has leather seats for up to 10 people and offers a comfortable ride up the mountain. What’s more, two new courses for beginner to intermediate riders opened along this new gondola system. Being able to go on beginner runs with only the gondola system is revolutionary. In addition, the HANAZONO Hooded Lift #1 was updated to have leather seats for 6 people, heating, and footrests, offering ultimate comfort. HANAZONO is sure to keep you coming back.
